YPS provides accommodation and support services to children and young people aged 12–25 years who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the Port Macquarie, Hastings, Kempsey and Macleay areas of the Mid North Coast of NSW. These include 24/7 crisis accommodation for children and young people aged 13–17 years; early intervention, prevention and outreach services for young people aged 16–25 years; and transitional housing for eligible young people aged 16–25 years. HYAP services are available for children and young people aged 12–15 years with HYAP crisis accommodation for HYAP children and young people aged 13–15 years. YPS also provides support to young parents (either single or couples) aged 13–25 years with dependent children. YPS does not provide direct support to dependent children but will assist parents in accessing appropriate supports for their dependent children if required.
